Opening of a railway line between Osaka and Nara The railway line be-tween Uehommachi and Nara (Takama-cho), 30.6km, in length, was opened. In addition, on July 8, 1914, a railway between Takama-cho and Higashimuki-Nakamachi in Nara city, 0.2 km in length, was opened.

Acquisition of Tenri Light Railway Corporation In February 1915, the Company started with a single steam railway between Tenri and Horyuji, 9 km in length and with a track gauge of 0.762 m. After the merger, in April 1922, the railway between Hirahata and Tenri, 4.7 km in length, became a broad-gauge electric railway. However, operation on the railway between Horyuji and Hirahata ceased in 1945, following which it was terminated.

The Company consolidated Ikoma Funicular Co., Ltd. In August 1918, the funicular railway between Toriimae and Hozanji, 1.0 km in length, was opened. In addition, the funicular railway between Hozanji and Ikoma-sanjo, 1.1 km in length, was opened in March 1929.

The railway line between Saidaiji and Kashiharajingu-mae was opened.
In April 1921, the railway line between Saidaiji and Koriyama, which was extended to Hirahata in April 1922, became available along the entire line in March 1923.

Completion of the Daiki Building A modern terminal building was constructed and Uehommachi Station was relocated to the building. In September 1936, the Daiki Department store was opened throughout its compound.

Establishment of Sangukyuko Electric Railway Co., Ltd. An affiliated company, Sangukyuko Electric Railway, was established with capital funds of 30 million yen. The object involved establishing a connection with the Sakurai line (the present day Osaka line) as well as a new project to make greater inroads in Ujiyamada.

The entire length of the railway line between Fuse and Sakurai was opened.The Sakurai line was opened between Fuse and Yao in October 1924 and was then extended on a sequential basis. In January 1929, the entire line up to Sakurai, 35.7 km in length, was opened.

The Company consolidated Iga Electric Railway Co., Ltd. In August 1916, the railway lines between Iga-Ueno and Uenoshi, and in July 1922, between Uenoshi and Nishi-Nabari were opened respectively. In May 1926, the entire line between Iga-Ueno and Nishi-Nabari, 26.3 km, in length, was electrified. In October 1964, the section of the line between Iga-Kambe and Nishi-Nabari, 9.7 km in length, was terminated.

Opening of the Nara Kasuga-Okuyama excursion bus service It is the very first omnibus service provided by the Company and in September 1932, the Ishikiri line opened, following which bus/limousine hire services were launched on a sequential basis in the eastern part of Osaka.

The Company consolidated Yoshino Railway Co., Ltd. In October 1912, the railway lines between Yoshinoguchi and Muda, in December 1923, between Yoshinoguchi and Kashiharajingu-mae, in November 1924, between Kashiharajingu-mae and Unebi and in March 1928, between Muda and Yoshino were launched respectively, representing a total available length of 28.6 km along the entire portion of the line between Yoshino and Unebi. The line between Kashiharajingu-mae and Unebi, 3.4 km in length, came to a halt in 1945 and was removed afterwards from the network.
